Seniors!!!! Jostens will be here for a presentation on September 11. You will meet in the auditorium during 5th hour. They will then return for orders on September 17 during lunch and September 18 before school. Both of these ordering times will take place in the Commons. (Run T &Th) Reminder to check lost/found. There are some items and in a couple of weeks we will be getting rid of them. We will not be holding lost/found items longer than a month, no room for it. ;) So if you're missing anything please come to the student office and check. From the College Room… On Wednesday, Alex from ISAC and Jannazzo will be in the Library during both lunch shifts to assist with College and Trade School applications, choosing careers, essay assistance, or other items to help you with your plans for after high school. Tuesday, September 9 is the UIS Nurse for a day field trip. The field trip is full. Thank you for signing up! |

ㅡ Awards/CelebrationsCoach Hamilton, our boys basketball coach, and Senator Doris Turner have teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things will be offered from this grant money, but one thing everyone enjoyed last year and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone, headphones, and dress code referrals. There is a little bit of a difference this year, instead of being referral free for the WHOLE year, Coach Hamilton wants students to reflect on their referrals, make necessary changes, and get another chance at a gift card. So each month is a fresh start. How do you know if you win? Watch Friday morning announcements. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements and stay referral free each month! |
