SE Spartan Announcements

Good Morning, Southeast students and staff. It's Monday, August 25th, 2025! I’m _____________.

Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and school-wide expectations, allow for learning throughout the building, and can think critically.

And now for a moment of silence to start our day…Thank you.

General Inf0

Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention.

Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS.

From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information.

Seniors!!!! Jostens will be here for a presentation on September 11.  You will meet in the auditorium during 5th hour.

They will then return for orders on September 17 during lunch and September 18 before school.  Both of these ordering times will take place in the Commons. (Run T &Th)

From the college room…

Juniors and Seniors - are you interested in pursuing a career in health care?

St John’s School of Nursing is offering a Teen Health Care Exploration (THCE) program. THCE is an after-school program for juniors and seniors interested in careers in the health care field. There are 6 Wednesday night sessions throughout the school year from 4:30-7:30pm. Sessions are located at HSHS simulation lab on 850 E. Madison St in Springfield. To apply, students can complete the application on the College and Career Canvas home page called Teen Health Care Exploration.

Juniors and Seniors - the permission slips for UIS Nurse for a Day field trip are in the College Room 121. They are yellow. Return those as soon as possible to hold your space. Remember, you must be passing classes and have good behavior to attend.

Seniors - Jannazzo will be in your English classes this week. If you miss school on that day, please complete the Senior Questionnaire on College and Career Canvas.

We love seeing the amazing Spartan moments! Homecoming is September 27th - keep your grades up so that you can join in all the fun!

This is a reminder that parking passes are REQUIRED to park in the student parking lot. The cost is $35 for the year, you can purchase passes in the main office with Ms. Fairlee. If you are parking there without a pass your car may be towed at your expense. Please see Ms. Fairlee in the main office if you have any questions.
