Jostens will be here for a presentation on September 11. You will meet in the auditorium during 5th hour. They will then return for orders on September 17 during lunch and September 18 before school. From the College Room - Welcome back Spartans! Check out the College and Career Canvas Course for upcoming events and resources for life after Southeast and tips for graduating successfully. August 25 - 29, Jannazzo will be visiting Senior English classrooms. If you are not present that day, please complete the Senior questionnaire on Canvas. Are you a Junior or Senior interested in Nursing - stop by the College room 121 and pick up a permission slip for the September 9 UIS/UIC Nurse for a Day field trip. You must be passing classes and have good behavior to attend. Permission slips are due by August 28. We are looking forward to sharing in your amazing year - make it your best yet! This is a reminder that parking passes are REQUIRED to park in the student parking lot. The cost is $35 for the year, you can purchase passes in the main office with Ms. Fairlee. If you are parking there without a pass your car may be towed at your expense. Please see Ms. Fairlee in the main office if you have any questions. |
ㅡ Clubs/Opportunities | Attention all students, Teen Court needs jurors. Want to make a difference in a kid's life, or contribute to improving the Southeast community? If so, we need you! Plus being a teen court juror looks really good on applications! Stop by the student office to pick up an application today. Applications are due August 29th! |
ㅡ Sports | If you are interested in running cross country, please see Ms. French or Mrs. Williams. There are no tryouts. Practice is every day after school. Tickets will go on sale for our football Golden Ticket Scrimmage during lunch starting on Tuesday. The varsity football scrimmage against Litchfield will take place this Friday at 6 PM. Student tickets are $2.00 for this game only. Every student who purchases a golden ticket also receives free candy at the admission gate. All student athletes should be reporting to practices daily. Girls tennis will begin tomorrow after school. Meet Coach Kinzer at the tennis courts. Students can still join football, girls tennis, girls swim, boys soccer, girls golf, and boys golf. Visit the main office if you need more information or email T-Will. ㅡ Awards/CelebrationsCoach LT and Senator Doris Turner teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things were offered, but one thing everyone enjoyed and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone,headphones, and dress code referrals starting Wednesday, October 23. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards on announcements Friday mornings to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements!
