Come out to watch the Lady Lions Basketball Team in the Tournament and bring a toy for a good cause! In the spirit of the season, the tournament is partnering with the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program to host a Toy Drive during the event. it’s a great way to give back to our community this holiday season. 🎁 Toy Drop-Off: Located in the main concourse at UIS throughout the day of the shootout!

Mrs Metzke and students braved the cold today and visited Illinois State University! Students learned about Reggie Redbird and all the programs that are offered.

The following Lanphier seniors were named Illinois State Scholars by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission. Students awarded are in the top half of their class in GPA and scored in the 95% percentile on the ACT test. They will also be recognized during the Senior Recognition Ceremony in May. Each were given a certificate signed by The ISAC Director Eric Zarnikow and The Governor J.B. Pritzker. 12/1/25 - Late practices/events Cancelled Please be aware that Lanphier High School is canceling all practices & events that were scheduled to begin at 5:30 or later tonight. The 3:30 practices are on as scheduled. This is due to the forecasted weather beginning this afternoon. The forecast is calling for sleet/snow mix that will cause challenging road conditions. Be safe & be warm!

Our Choir Concert will take place on December 11th at 6:30 p.m., and our Band Concert will take place on December 16th at 6:30 p.m. Both concerts will be held in the Lanphier Auditorium and are free of charge. Come support our students and hear the songs of the season!

Girls Basketball with impressive win at the Whitney Young - Kenner Klassic Shootout and we have a MVP award! The lLdy Lions won 61-26. Alayah Jarrett scored 21 and was named the MVP. We are so proud! Paws up! 🐾 #northside

Our Foods 3/4 students, under the guidance of Mrs. White, prepared a wonderful Thanksgiving luncheon for the administrative staff this week. Every dish was homemade, delicious, and made with care. The administrative team is truly grateful for the students’ hard work, creativity, and generosity.
